We had another wonderful time of worship on Sunday afternoon, led by Jason Tan along with our dedicated Worship Team, followed by a thought provoking message by Pastor Fari Rider as she ministered the word of the Lord. Fari's message asked, "Why Am I a Christian?" and included examples of how many of us arrive at our faith. Some of us call ourselves Christians because our parents were Christians, others because it is 'popular'. Some are Christians for the benefits--the 'loaves and fishes' believers as Fari put it. Please pray for Sister Kay as she continues to suffer from back pain. Pray that the cortisone shot she received last week will relieve her discomfort and that God will heal her. Pray also for Pastor Leid and their family as they care for Sister Kay.

Wednesday Night Bible Study Although Pastor Leid is in the US, Bible study continues on the 3rd floor, AG Center, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Children's English Outreach This outreach is for children 5 - 8 years old, and is held every Saturday from 2 - 4 PM on the 3rd floor of the AG Center. James Andrews, a long time American missionary to Taiwan, will minister the word of God while Pastor Leid and Sister Kay are on leave to visit their family. Join us this Sunday and bring a friend!
Adult Christian Education 4:30 - 5:30 PM Join Jerry Petway as he leads the English class in a study practical Christian living, from the book of James. The English class meets every Sunday afternoon in the 3rd floor side room. The Tagalog class, taught by Lolita Lu, is studying ways to manage stress. You can join this class on the 9th floor each Sunday afternoon. Feel welcome to join either of these classes any Sunday.

January 31st - Our next Praise & Worship service is fast approaching! This is a special service we have several times a year, in which members can share testimonies of how God is working in their lives, and also share their special gifts (music, songs, interpretive dance, drama).
