This Week At Agape 22 February 2010

CONGRADULATIONS ON ENJOYING THE YEAR OF THE TIGER. MAY THIS BE A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS YEAR FOR ALL OUR CHINESE FRIENDS AROUND THE WORLD. Pastor Leid and Kay arrived back just in time to join the celebration.

Yesterday was an exciting day at Agape Mandarin as Noel Young brought a beautiful message that was enjoyed by everyone. The afternoon Agape service was truly blessed by the Lord. Ricky F. from the Chosen Ones congregation joined us to lead the worship. Pastor Fari Rider brought a very helpful message on WAITING ON GOD. Her introduction showed it is dangerous to get ahead of God. She used the illustration from the Bible of Abraham, Moses, and Judas Iscariot Some of her main points were: a. The Bothersome Side to Waiting, b. Waiting sometimes makes on look foolish, c. Waiting is Unnatural, This was followed by the The Benefits of Waiting a. Waiting develops character, b. Waiting deepens our compassion for others. C. Waiting clarifies our prospective. Waiting directs our choices. She finished with “How to learn how to wait on God.” a. Wait collectively (wait together), b. Wait honestly, c. Wait actively. Conclusion: We need to wait. By waiting we draw strength from God, and finally Trust God.   • Power House Prayer Meeting 8 - 10 PM, on the 9th floor, AG Center, led by Jonathan Ezemeka. These vital times of intercessory prayer take place every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.

  • Sunday Noon Prayer Meeting 12:00 noon - 1:30 PM on the 9th floor, AG Center led by Jonathan Ezemeka. Agape services are being especially blessed and rewarded by the presence of the Lord as a result of these intercessory prayer times. Come and join this rewarding prayer meeting. More persons of prayer are needed to join with us during this important time of intercessory prayer.
