This Week at Agape ICA (01-Mar-2010)

Special Announcement: Next Sunday afternoon, a team of three people from Dallas, Texas, will be in the 2pm service. Lulie Thomas and Angel Crow will minister on Post-Abortion Restoration.

These ladies minister to hurting men and women about past events that have left them scarred, and with guilt. Please bring your friends who have had a traumatic event in their lives that left them scared, and watch the healing process begin.

Yesterday was an exciting day at Agape Mandarin as Wendy Yu brought a beautiful message that was enjoyed by everyone.

The afternoon Agape service was truly blessed by the Lord. Jason Tan returned from the Philippines and led us in worship. Senior Pastor Harry Leid challenged us with a message entitled, “God, Do You Want A Job?” Yes, God is not unemployed, but always looking to work for us. Questions such as, "How God Acts on Job Applications," and "Can God Work For Us Without Our Cooperation?" The main thought was “What Are Some of the Jobs God Enjoys?”

Goodness is a job for God! God’s working in us always requires change! God measures in progress not in recession. God can work in you to create His Goodness in three standards: Good, Better, or Best.   • Adult English Learners Outreach This class is now led by Pastor Fari Rider with help from Dora Hsu and Kay Leid. The English Class is at 7 PM, and this week only, will meet on the 9th floor, AG Center. This class has open enrollment so everyone is welcome to come and study English.   • No Power House Prayer Meeting These are held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month.

    Children's Outreach The Children’s Outreach led by Wendy Chen will resume this week on Saturday at 2 PM. All Mandarin speaking children, 5 - 8 years old, are invited to join these classes.   • Agape Morning Service in Mandarin This Sunday Worship will be led by Vincent, with Linda Lin at the keyboard. Rev. Samuel Chen of Changhua Bread of Life will visit Agape Mandarin and share the Word of God. Rev. Chen interned at Agape many years ago and is also a former classmate of Dora Hsu, our Mandarin Coordinator. Look forward to meeting Rev. Chen and his wife this Sunday.Pastor Leid will serve the Lord’s Supper.   • Sunday Noon Prayer Meeting 12:00 noon - 1:30 PM on the 9th floor, AG Center led by Jonathan Ezemeka. Agape services are being especially blessed and rewarded by the presence of the Lord as a result of these intercessory prayer times. Come and join this rewarding prayer meeting. More persons of prayer are needed to join with us during this important time of intercessory prayer.

  • Agape Afternoon Service in English 2:00 - 4:00 PM This Sunday afternoon a team of three from Dallas, Texas, will be in the 2pm service.
