This Week at Agape ICA (05-Apr-2010)

The Easter Celebration was made to be enjoyed every day of the year.. All over the world people celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. He is the One and Only who has been resurrected from the grave. Jesus Christ is one of a kind, the only begotten of God the Father, Who has come forth from the grave and been resurrected to heaven.

Yesterday was a marvelous Easter Day in all six of our congregations. The Mandarin Congregation went to the streets to tell others the message of the Resurrection. After a service in Shin Shin Park they went around the neighborhood greeting people with plastic Easter eggs containing a message and a gift. They also talked and prayed with a number of people.

The Agape ICA English service in the afternoon was truly blessed of God. Pastor Fari Rider led worship, and the congregation was led to the grave, and then to the Resurrected Christ. Melody Hung, who is home from APTS in Baguio, Philippines, sang and played the piano for three special numbers. Pastor Leid served communion, and ministered about the Resurrection of Christ from a journalist's point of view. Dora Hsu had prepared an empty grave scene using the water baptism tank, and a large sign proclaimed, “He isn’t here, He has risen from the grave!" It was very beautiful and will stay up for a couple of weeks.
