Yesterday's Sunday Service at Agape ICA Taipei was blessed mightily by God. The Praise and Worship, led by Pastor Fari Rider, was outstanding. Everyone attending was blessed of the Lord. Pastor Leid brought the first of a series, "Opposites - Take Your Choice." The Spirit versus the flesh. We are all in a battle. Galatians 5:16 tells us to live by the Spirit, and we will not gratify the desires of our sinful nature. What is the solution to these two opposites? First, Recognize the Opposites:

1. Physical
   1. sexual immorality;
   2. drunkenness;
   3. orgies (an unbridled indulgence of passion)
2. Mental
   1. impurity;
   2. debauch, to corrupt by sensuality, seduce, intemperance
   3. hatred;
   4. jealousy;
   5. fits of rage;
   6. selfish ambitions;
   7. envy
3. Religious
   1. idolatry; (the religious worship of idols, excessive admiration or devotion)
   2. witchcraft (the art or practices of an witch; sorcery)
4. Relationships
   1. jealousy;
   2. dissensions; (strong disagreement or discord)
   3. factions, (group or clique within a larger group or party to strife and intrigue)
   4. discord (lack of harmony, difference of opinion)

Second, map out a strategy to rid yourself of any of these impurities. Third, There is hope. (Read Ephesians 4:17-24 and look forward to Part 2 by Pastor Leid on June 21.)

Penny Chen and Lily Wang, university students with the Taiwan Campus Crusade for Christ gave a ten minute presentation on their coming summer trips to East Asia and Japan for ministry. Wednesday night Bible Study 7:00 - 8:30 on the 3rd floor of the AG Center. This week Pastor Harry Leid will finish Psalm 78. If you have opportunity please read this Psalm ahead of the class. This class has open enrollment so you can join any Wednesday night. Please come and join the group in this spiritual quest for renewed life in God.

• Adult English Learners Outreach from 7 - 9 PM. Esther Lin, Tiffany Chen, and Kay Leid are the teachers. This week the students will study the coming of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament.

• Power House Prayer Meeting this Friday. These are held every 2nd and 4th Friday evening of each month.8 PM to 10 PM on the 9th floor, AG Center led by Jonathan Ezemeka. Agape services are being especially blessed and rewarded by the presence of the Lord as a result of these intercessory prayer times. Come and join this rewarding prayer meeting. More persons of prayer are needed to join with us during this important time of intercessory prayer.
