This Week At Agape ICA (09 March 2009)

SOMETHING CONTINUING THIS WEEK. A YOUNG ADULT ENGLISH CELL GROUP WILL MEET SATURDAY NIGHT ON FLOOR 7 OF THE AG BUILDING. SEE INFORMATION BELOW UNDER SATURDAY

Yesterday, Agape ICA enjoyed a very lively time of Worship led by Jason Tan. The worship was very meaningful and prepared the people to enter the presence of God. All the people responded spiritually. Senior Pastor Harry Leid brought the third message in a series entitled "A BAD HAIR DAY." This message was about two ladies who had a bad hair day when their brother died. Death has a certain finality, and the sisters were greaved. They knew what to do in a crisis situation, and they called Jesus to come to their home as he was a good friend ofthe deceased Lazarus. Jesus came, and not only comforted Mary and Martha, but he raised Lazarus who had been wrapped up in the grave cave for four days. One of the things this lesson teaches us is that not every " Bad Hair Day" has to have a bad ending. Infact, this miracle of resurrection broght much glory to God. This message will soon be posted on this web site. Next Sunday, Pastor Fari Rider will minister the Word of the Lord as Pastor Leid and Kay will be at the Kaoshiung ICA church for the weekend.."

Agape Mandarin Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at 7 PM on the 3rd floor of the AG Center. Come and pray with Chinese Believers, along with Pastors Hugo and Esther Lin..

WEDNESDAY, March 11, 2009

Wednesday night Bible Study 7:00 - 8:30 on the 3rd floor of the AG Center. Pastor Leid will teach from Psalm 64 and 65. This is a good interactive Bible Study with neat truths from the Word of God. Everyone is welcome to join this calss at any time.

FRIDAY, March 13, 2009

  • Adult English Learners Outreach 7 - 9 PM in the auditorium on the 3rd floor of the AG Center. Pastor Esther Lin, Tiffany Chen, and Kay Leid make up the team that teaches this class. This is a fun claas and a comfortable way to learn English. New students are always welcome..

  • Power House Prayer Meeting this Friday. These are held on the 2nd and 4th Friday evening of each month from 8 PM to 10 PM on the 9th floor of the AG Center. Jonathan Ezemeka is the leader of this Prayer Time. New people are always welcome to come and join in prayer.

    • SATURDAY, March 14, 2009

  • Children's English Outreach will be held from 2 - 4 PM on floor 3 of the AG Center. Wendy Chen directs this education program for Chinese Children. All Mandarin speaking children are invited to join these classes this Saturday.

  • Chinese Youth Fellowship will meet from 7:30 - 9:00 PM in the auditorium 3rd floor of the AG Center. Pastors Hugo and Esther Lin lead this Youth Study. For more information about this Mandarin youth service, please phone Pastor Hugo Lin at 0952-409-876, or Esther Lin 0920-409-867

  • <NEW YOUNG ADULT CELL GROUP. The second meeting will be held this Saturday night 7 - 9 PM on the 7th floor floor AG Center, # 21 Chang Chung Rd. Taipei. (See map on this web site for location.) Ages include 18 - 40 years of age. Daniel Martin, a graduate of Florida State University inthe USA will lead this group.   • Chinese Worship Service 10:00 - 12:00 Noon on the 3rd floor, AG Center. The Mandarin-speaking congregation will have a special service with a message by Pastor Hugo Lin. For more information about this Mandarin service, please phone Pastor Hugo Lin at 0952-409-876, or Esther Lin 0920-409-867.

  • Sunday Noon Prayer Meeting 12:00 noon - 1:30 PM on the 9th floor, AG Center. Jonathan Ezemeka is the leader of this prayer group. Come and join this rewarding prayer meeting. More persons of prayer are needed to help pray during this important Prayer Meeting.

  • Agape ICA English Service 2:00 - 4:00 PM on the 3rd floor, AG Center. This Sunday Pastor Fari Rider will bring a message from the Word of God. People enjoy Pastor Rider's knowledge of the Bible, and her enthusiam to worship God. The Lord has a good message for you this coming Sunday if you can attend.

  • Adult Christian Education 4:30 - 5:30 pm. The Tagalog class will gather on the 9th floor of the AG Center with Lolita Lu as the teacher. The English Class will meet in the side room off the Main Auditorium on the 3rd floor of the AG Center. These classes have open enrollment, and new people are invited to join any Sunday.
