This Week at Agape ICA (13-Apr-2009)
EASTER SUNDAY SERVICE was EXTREMELY UPLIFTING FOR THE CONGREGATION. . The Easter Sunday service at Agape ICA was very spiritually stimulating.. Pastor Fari Rider led a marvelous worship time as the congregation entered into the Spirit of Easter. There was a Children's Drama, with baby Nicki as the star of the presentation. Also there was a dance group led by Pauola Galagos. Tiffany Chen rendered 2 very special music numbers on the key board, and Wanda Johnson brought a special Easter song. Pastor Leid brought an enlightening Easter Message about WHERE DID HE GO! In the message the last days of Jesus were followed, with emphesis on the empty tomb, and Jesus appearing to people on the Road to Emaus. Today Jesus seeks residence in the hearts of humanity that He came to save. Wednesday night Bible Study 7:00 - 8:30 on the 3rd floor of the AG Center. Senior Pastor Harry Leid will continue teaching from the Book of Psalms. This week we will study Psalm 69. These Psalms are very enlightening and spiritually refreshing. Everyone is welcome to join this class at any time.
FRIDAY, April 17, 2009
- Adult English Learners Outreach 7:00 to 9:00 PM on the 3rd floor, AG Center. This week will be a special time of studying about Easter in English. There will be a large picture story book, and short movie about His death. Easter is all about the resurrection of Christ rising from the grave, so please come and learn the special words in English.
- No Power House Prayer Meeting this Friday. These are held on the 2nd and 4th Friday evening of each month.
SATURDAY, April 18, 2009
- Children's English Outreach will be held from 2 - 4 PM on floor 3 of the AG Center. Wendy Chen will have a special story for the children this week. All Mandarin speaking children are invited to join these classes They will learn more about the meaning of the word Easter. Along with the lessons there will be games, art work, and treats.
- Chinese Youth Fellowship will meet from 7:30 - 9:00 PM in the auditorium 3rd floor of the AG Center. Pastors Hugo and Esther Lin lead this Youth Study. New youths are always welcomed. - NEW Young Adult Cell Group. This week the group will meet on Saturday night from 7 - 9 PM, here in the AG Center on floor 7. For information please phone Dora Hsu at 0963258 248. Daniel Martin, a graduate of Florida State University in the USA, leads this group. If you are looking for a Young Adult English fellowship please feel free to come and join this group.

- Sunday Noon Prayer Meeting 12:00 noon - 1:30 PM on the 9th floor, AG Center. Jonathan Ezemeka is the leader of this prayer group. Come and join this rewarding prayer meeting. More persons of prayer are needed to help pray during this important Prayer Meeting.
- Agape ICA Worship Service 2:00 - 4:00 PM on the 3rd floor, AG Center. There will be a special time of worship led by Miss Nadge Kabore. There will also be special music, and a message from God's Word by Minister Wanda Johnson.
- Adult Christian Education this Sunday This week there will be an English Class taught by Pastor Kay Leid, and a Talagag Class taght by Lolita Lu. These classes meet from 4:30 - 5:30 in the AG Center.
