Yesterday was a great day of worship at Agape ICA here in Taipei, Taiwan. The service started with a meaningful worship time led by Jason Tan. This was followed by the serving of Communion by Pastor Leid. The of the congregation gave excellent testimonies of how God had worked in their lives this past week..
Following this Pastor Leid spoke on Who Does God Want Me To Be Part 1. Next Sunday we will have part 2.
Who does God want me to be? First of all He wants us to be ourselves, but made in the image of God. One of the most difficult things for a Christian to be is an imitation copy of another person or another Christian. The second point was that: God Created You, and He Does Not Create Junk. Our parents, ourselves, our friends can distort this wonderful person God has created. Drugs, alcohol, physical abuse, and other things can alter the person God has made. Parents who reduce their children’s self value by telling them they are no good, will never amount to anything, and always ridiculing them tarnish the good image of God in them.
