This Week at Agape ICA (29-Mar-2010)

Next Sunday is Celebrate Easter Sunday. All over the world people celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. He is the one and only who has been resurrected from the grave. Jesus Christ is one of a kind, the only begotten of God the Father who has come forth from the grave and been resurrected to heaven.

Yesterday was a marvelous day Super Sunday. Wendy Yu brought an inspiring message for Palm Sunday. The congregation was inspired to reach out and welcome Christ the King riding into Jerusalem. This was followed by a water baptism service with seven adults following Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection.

Then the congregation moved to floor 6 to enjoy an All Church Potluck. There was a large selection of different types of food, and everyone ate until they could hold no more. What a great day of fellowship!

  • Adult English Learners Outreach This class is now led by Pastor Fari Rider with help from Dora Hsu and Kay Leid. The English Class is at 7 PM, and meets on the 3rd floor. This class has open enrollment so everyone is welcome to come and study English. For more information, call Dora Hsu, 0963-258-248.

  • No Power House Prayer Meeting these week. These are held every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, led by Jonathan Ezemeka.

    Children's Outreach The Children’s Outreach led by Wendy Chen will meet this week on Saturday at 2 PM. A special time of making Easter Eggs will be part of the program. All Mandarin speaking children, 5 - 8 years old, are invited to join these classes. For more information please phone Wendy Chen at 2598-1009.

    SUNDAY, April 4th, 2010

  • Agape Morning Service in Mandarin 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon The Mandarin Congregation will have an Outreach at Shin Shin Park. No service at the AG Center. A short service in the park will be followed by an Easter Egg hunt and walk around the neighborhood giving out Easter Eggs with a message. Phone Dora for info at 0963-258-248.   • Sunday Noon Prayer Meeting 12:00 noon - 1:30 PM on the 9th floor, AG Center led by Jonathan Ezemeka. Agape services are being especially blessed and rewarded by the presence of the Lord as a result of these intercessory prayer times. Come and join this rewarding prayer meeting. More persons of prayer are needed to join with us during this important time of intercessory prayer.
  • Agape Afternoon Service in English 2:00 - 4:00 PM Next Sunday is Celebrate Easter Sunday Pastor Leid will bring a Celebration Message about the Resurrected Christ.   • Adult Christian Education 4:30 - 5:30 PM Pastor Kay Leid will teach the English Class about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Tagalog class has been studying about how to handle stress as a Christian. This class is on the 9th floor of the AG Building.
