HAPPY HORIZONS RANCH: Helping Street Children Find a Home
http://www.hhcr.org
Where do the growing hordes of street children in the Philippines go to find a place to rest their heads? Enter Glen Garrison, founder of the Happy Horizon Children’s Ranch in Cebu, Philippines. His ranch helps children get off the dangerous streets and escape lives in the sex trade. Not only does the ranch provide a safe haven, it also provides education, medical attention, and leadership training. As a result, many of the children on the ranch in turn become outreach workers themselves. He will share stories of hope and prosperity from a place where children can truly see a bright future in the horizon.
Come and see this inspirational philanthropist and others speak at Agape’s 17th Annual Missions Convention on June 4th, 2006 at 2pm. Find peace of heart in helping those in need.
