TIP Night – Together in Prayer

Martin Luther: “Prayer is not overcoming God’s reluctance, but laying hold of His willingness.”

The first Saturday night of each month, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, is our Together In Prayer (TIP) night. Everyone is welcome to join in the TIP gatherings as we pray for the needs of our church family and beyond by “laying hold of His willingness.”

In The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference, author Macolm Gladwell defined a tipping point as “the moment of critical mass, the threshold, the boiling point.”

Regarding what he calls “The Law of the Few”, Gladwell states, “The success of any kind of social epidemic is heavily dependent on the involvement of people with a particular and rare set of social gifts.”

Likewise, the success of any spiritual outbreak is “heavily dependent” on people with a “rare set” of spiritual gifts – rare in that they are God-given supernatural for the demolishing strongholds (II Corinthians 10:3-4). So, we P.U.S.H. – Pray until something happens!

EPHESIANS 4:18 – Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit.

PSALM 17:6 – I am praying to You because I know You will answer, O God.

PSALM 50:15 – Then call on Me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give Me glory.

PSALM 91:15 – When they call on Me, I will answer!

I JOHN 5:14-15 (NIV) – This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.
