Ty and Cina Silva have been Assemblies of God missionaries in Asia Pacific (AP) since 1978. In early 2015 they moved their Asia-base from the Philippines to Taiwan to become the Lead Pastors of Agape International Christian Assembly (ICA) in Taipei. Prior to moving here, the Silvas had enjoyed over 20 years of ministry relationships and opportunities for ministry in Taiwan.

The Silvas are also the Asia Pacific Regional Ministry Directors for Youth and Campus Ministry for the Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM), USA. The priority focus of that ministry is to help establish student ministries in Asia Pacific through vision casting, training workers and providing materials for youth and student ministry. They have published a number of training, evangelism and discipleship materials being used throughout the region, including the book "Campus Prayerwalking".

Pastor Ty is the dean for the Asian Institute of Youth Studies (AIYS) program at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (APTS) in Baguio City, Philippines. This is a graduate level course for national youth committees, national university ministry leaders, and those Asia Pacific missionaries focusing on youth/campus ministry. Together they serve on the global University Ministry Commission for the AGWM.

The Silvas served as Regional Directors for OneHope (formerly Book of Hope) in Asia Pacific from 1997-2014. The OneHope mission is to affect destiny by providing God’s eternal Word to all the children and youth of the world. Since 1998 more than 125 million Asia Pacific children and youth have received their own copy of the story of Jesus through the Book of Hope and other OneHope tools such as The GodMan film. Pastor Cina served as a writer and developer of OneHope materials used globally for children and youth.

Pastor Cina has released one album of original praise and worship scripture music, His Songs.

Revs. Ty and Cina have one daughter, Jaimee, who is an ordained minister/missionary. Rev. Jaimee Silva presently serves as the Children’s and Family Pastor at International Christian Assembly (ICA) in Bangkok, Thailand.
