Both Pastor Chester and Pastor Melody Hung Tesoro grew up in pastors’ homes. Pastor Chester was raised in Mindanao, Philippines, and holds a BA in Biblical Studies from Mindanao Regional Bible College. He has been in fulltime ministry since 1997. Pastor Melody grew up here in Taipei and graduated with a degree in TESOL from Christ College Taipei.

The couple met in 2009, while studying at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (APTS), and were married in 2011. Pastor Chester and Pastor Melody graduated from APTS, with a Masters of Divinity in Missions and a Masters of Divinity in Ministry, respectively.

The Tesoros joined the Agape ICA ministry team in February 2020. Prior to this, they served Calinan Bethel Temple in Davao, Philippines as lead pastors for 5 years. They are both credentialed ministers with the Philippines General Council of the Assemblies of God.
